Rev. Andy Jung

Rev. Andy Jung has been the Minister of Students at Trinity Baptist Church since June of 2003. He leads the entire Student Ministry to all middle school, high school, and college students along with their families.

Andy has also been the Minister of Activities and helped to open the ROC at Trinity. Prior to being called to Trinity, he served as Minister of Students/Activities at Parkwood Baptist Church in Concord, North Carolina for five years. He has also served as Youth Minister at Knightdale Baptist Church in Knightdale, North Carolina and Germanton Baptist Church in Germanton, North Carolina.

Andy was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the United States in 1981 as a seven year old with his family. He grew up in Sanford, North Carolina and graduated from Lee County Senior High School in 1992.

Andy received a Bachelor of Science in Math Education from North Carolina State University in 1996. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. He received his Master of Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School.

He is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California in Youth, Family and Culture.
Andy has been married to his wife, Amy, since June of 1996. He enjoys playing golf, watching sports and following his beloved Wolfpack of NC State.

Rev. Lydia Tatum

Rev. Lydia Tatum has been the Student Ministry Associate at Trinity Baptist since June of 2010. She is mainly responsible for the middle school ministry along with supporting the high school and college ministries.

Lydia received her Bachelor of Arts in Religion and her Master of Divinity from Campbell University in Buies Creek.

She grew up in Danville, Virginia where she was a member of First Baptist Church, Danville. She currently lives in Raleigh with her husband, Andrew, and their young son, David. Andrew, who is also in the ministry, serves as a youth minister at Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield, NC.

Lydia served as the Director of Youth Ministries at Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church for four years before coming to TBC. Prior to Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church, she served as the summer youth intern at First Baptist, Danville.

Lydia has a passion for people, emphasizing genuine relationships as a paradigm for fruitful faith development. She loves doing mission work, loving those in need, and being a friend to all people.

In her spare time, Lydia enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and cheering for the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Durham Bulls.
